Our bed and breakfast guests enjoy all the same facilities as our cottage guests (see ‘Pool and Facilities’ page). Barritshayes is set in 8 acres of grounds and paddocks and guests are welcome to walk around and take in the wonderful views which surround us. Although not a working farm, we do have some friendly sheep, horses. dogs and cats, and children are welcome to help feed the animals each evening. At Barritshayes you’re assured of a warm welcome, comfortable rooms and a hearty breakfast. We endeavour to use local, organic produce when possible.
Barritshayes is ideally placed whether it’s for a family beach holiday or for exploring the beautiful countryside. The World Heritage Jurassic coast is 4 miles away with some great beaches and cliff walks and there are miles of footpaths, cycleways and bridlepaths on our doorstep.
Bed and breakfast is in a separate wing of the house comprising a large double bedroom with sitting area, tv/dvd, wash basin; twin bedroom with two single beds; private bathroom. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room or conservatory overlooking the swimming pool, depending on the weather. You are welcome to come and go as you please during the day and we have several suggestions for good eating places for your evening meal. There are pubs and restaurants in Colyton and Colyford, or slightly further away at Beer, Axmouth, Honiton and Seaton. Free wifi is available.
